Peter Fuzesi has 20 years of experience in the field of reproductive medicine, currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Hanabusa IVF (San Diego, CA) and the co-founder and CEO of Asian Egg Bank.
Peter's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Marymount Manhattan College in NYC, and a Master of Science degree in Embryology and Andrology from the Jones Institute at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
In the early stages of his career, Peter held various laboratory-related positions in New York City, including endocrinology and andrology lab supervisor, as well as IVF laboratory manager. His responsibilities at New Hope Fertility Center in New York, NY, involved overseeing laboratory operations and compliance. Additionally, he actively participated in business operations and the development of the center, contributing to its rapid growth. Peter was also instrumental in the design and construction of their flagship IVF center at Columbus Circle.
Peter's journey took a significant turn when he relocated to San Diego in 2015 after the birth of his son. Since then, he has focused on executive and practice management roles while leveraging his extensive knowledge from his laboratory years. Recognizing the importance of continuous learning and professional development, Peter joined the Vistage CEO peer group in 2019 to enhance his business leadership skills. He also completed an Executive Leadership certificate program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Peter enjoys spending quality time with his family. He has a passion for hiking and traveling, always on the lookout for rare additions to his extensive fridge magnet collection. Additionally, he embraces physical challenges and tests his fitness by participating in half marathon events.
