My professional journey of healing others began by teaching fitness classes at UCLA during my undergraduate years, which led to working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor while studying to become a psychotherapist at USC. I specialize in eating disorders and perinatal health, including postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. Additionally, I am a certified perinatal personal trainer. A significant part of my practice is dedicated to supporting individuals and couples facing infertility challenges. I offer comprehensive guidance, counseling, workshops, and support groups for those undergoing fertility treatments and navigating the complexities of third-party reproduction, including the use of a donor or gestational carrier. Additionally, I provide psychological consultations for intended parents and conduct psychological evaluations for donors and gestational carriers. I am also a regular contributor for media outlets.
A few non-professional facts about me: I am married and have two children. I am still passionate about fitness, something I have always dedicated myself to. I worked as a sign language interpreter throughout college. Finally, I love learning new things and challenging myself in ways that help me to be a better person as well as a clinician.
