About

The purpose of the Genetic Counseling Professional Group (GCPG) is the establishment of an organized presence of genetic counselors and related professionals within the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). The GCPG also provides genetic counseling resources to ASRM, serves as a liaison to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC), generates presentation tracks on genetic counseling topics at the ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo, and encourages membership and participation of genetic counselors within ASRM.

The Genetic Counseling Special Interest Group (GCSIG), now the Genetic Counseling Professional Group (GCPG) of the ASRM, was founded in 2003.  There are currently more than 100 members of the GCPG.
