Letter from the Chair

Dear ARM Members:

I am honored to serve as your ARM Chairperson this year. We have an exciting program lined up and are looking forward to growing the support and resources for all reproductive managers.

The National ARM Conference will be held on May 2nd and 3rd. Stay tuned for our location. We are excited to continue our networking event on Thursday afternoon followed by a reception that evening.  For Friday, we focused this year on capturing some new insights for you regarding the many diverse departments that make up an REI practice including nursing, patient services, and embryology laboratory. You won’t want to miss it!

We also have great plans for the ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo in Philadelphia.  We will be hosting a pre-Congress full-day course on Strengthening Your Core Business While Achieving and Sustaining Growth. We are presenting three symposia, on Risk Management: Patient Education, Compliance, and Consenting, Respect Your Enemy: Marketing Your Practice Within the SART Advertising Guidelines in a Competitive market and How to Build High Functioning Lab Teams. Finally, we will host four roundtable discussions on a wide variety of topics!

The ARM board and members of ARM have been working hard to develop a newly updated ARM website with an online forum that you can now post questions or concerns regarding our industry.  This is another great way to network and get ideas on best practices in our field. A very special thank you to Griffin Jones, Julius Varzoni, Dani Mosley and Julie Beckham for their help!

ARM’s mission is the pursuit of excellence in education and facilitating networking as a means of improving patient care and customer service in the practices we manage. The ARM leadership will attempt to provide valid problem-solving solutions and pertinent, timely and progressive information to our membership.

For 2019, the ARM leadership is as follows:

  • Your Executive Committee – Lindsey McBain, Sara Mooney, Blake Welch, Marianne Kreiner, Danielle Soltesz and Colin Thomas.
  • Your Chair for the 2019 ARM Conference- Sara Mooney
  • Your SART Executive Council Representative- Sara Mooney
  • Your ASRM Staff Representative- Dani Mosley

We welcome your assistance and encourage your involvement.  Please feel free to contact me with thoughts, concerns, ideas, feedback or suggestions.

Looking forward to meeting you,

Sara Mooney
