Working with depressed and anxious infertility patients: the impact on the health care team

When:  May 24, 2022 from 14:30 to 15:30 (CT)
Associated with  ASRM Webinars

It is well established that individuals and couples experiencing infertility report high levels of negative emotional symptoms. It has also been recently proven that the pandemic has led to an increase in these symptoms. Not only does this mean that our patients are suffering more, but it also can make it more challenging for the health care team to provide effective treatment. Which can lead to distress and an increased risk of staff turnover. The webinar will review these psychological impacts as well as introducing strategies and tools for stress relief, for patients and HCPs alike.
